Natalie Garland Larson, age 82, of Duxbury, MA and Vero Beach, FL. died peacefully at home with her family on June 5th. She was the daughter of Josephine and John Garland of Wellesley, MA. She leaves behind her husband Oscar of 62 years, , her daughter Susan Victor of St. Croix, Virgin Islands, her son Robert Larson and his wife Suzanne of West Chester, OH, her son David Larson of Martha's Vineyard, MA and her beloved grandchildren Ben and Britta Victor of St. Croix. She also leaves two sisters, Evelyn McIntyre of Swampscott, MA and Rosalind Banbury of Northridge, CA as well as sister-in-law Eleanor Larson of Norwell, MA and many nieces and nephews. Natalie was a member of Living Lord Lutheran Church, the Duxbury Art Association and the Duxbury Yacht Club. She recently enjoyed taking classes at Florida Atlantic University. Natalie was a devoted wife and mother adored by all who knew her. She loved music and playing her organ, art, poetry, crossword puzzles, and decorating her homes by the sea. Visitation will be at Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston on Thursday evening June 12th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Memorial Service will be held at Saint John the Evangelist Church, 410 Washington St. in Duxbury, MA on Friday morning June 13th at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Mayflower Cemetery, DuxburyMemorial donations may be made to the VNA and Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960, the Duxbury Art Association, P.O. Box 204A, Duxbury, MA 02331, or Crossroads for Kids, 119 Myrtle Street, Duxbury, MA 02332. .
