Wendy Louise Young, (Schmalz), of Halifax, MA, passed away June 4,2008 at the age of 54. Wife of Alfred Young of Halifax, MA. Daughter of Thelma Schmalz, and the late Albert E. Schmalz. Mother of Stacey Mackiewicz of Attleboro, MA. Grandmother of Savannah of Attleboro, MA. Sister of Wayne Schmalz of Bedford, MA, Christopher Schmalz of Marshfield, MA, and Leisa Norton of Pembroke, MA. Dear Aunt to Leah, Jessica, Austin and Ashley Norton, Vanessa, Zachary, and Rebekka Schmalz, and Amy Schmalz. Wendy grew up in Hanover, MA and graduated from Hanover High School. She was a longtime employee of the Foxboro Co. and Reebok. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Thecla's Church Washington St. (Rte 53) Pembroke, MA at 1 PM Friday June 13.
