Annice Marie Lima of Vineyard Haven, passed away on May 25, 2008. Born on February 18, 1931 she was a native of E. Boston. She leaves behind a brother, Alfred Hopp of Vineyard Haven. Three children, Janice Perrin of Saugus, John Lima of Pembroke, and Gary Lima of San Jose, CA. She has six grandchildren, several nieces, and one nephew. Annice was a devoted New England sports fan since childhood. She also loved music especially the Eagles. She loved Martha’s Vineyard and lived there independently for 20 years. Annice’s great grandmother, Sarah (Alla) Wainwright marched in Washington D.C. for women’s suffrage and was arrested and bailed out of jail. Annice had that spirit throughout her life and has passed it down to her children and grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 15th at 11:00 AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett (Rt. 14) Pembroke. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club, PO Box 654 Edgartown, MA 02539.
