Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Crowne

Mary Elizabeth Crowne of Dorchester, Quincy and Carver died peacefully on May 8,2008 at home in Carver at the age of 91. She was the wife of the late Thomas W. Crowne. Daughter of the late Dennis and Mary Murphy. Loving sister of the late Thomas, John, James, William, Francis and Joseph Murphy. Dear Aunt to Sheila Jarvis of Dedham, John Murphy of Maine, William Murphy of Weymouth, Joseph Murphy of Georgia and Dennis Murphy of Randolph. Longtime devoted friend for over 70 years to Mary Flynn of Milton and Helena Aducci of Plymouth. She is also survived by 13 Grand Nieces and Nepkews as well as 17 Great Grand Nieces and Nephews. Mary was born in Boston. She was employed by New England Life Insurance Company for over 40 years. She and her husband moved to Quincy from Dorchester in 1978, where she lived until 2001. She then moved to Carver with her Grand Niece Donna and her husband Matthew Remedis and their three children Patrick, Thomas and Kelly. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held on Thur May 22,2008 at St John’s the Baptist Church in Quincy at 10am. Burial will be in New Calvary Cemetery in Boston.
