Leon F. Scott, of Kingston, died May 2 at his home, he was 78. Born in Somerville, MA on Sept. 16, 1929, he was the son of Earle and Anna (Hourihan) Scott. He served in the US Army. He was a former crane operator for General Dynamics. Mr. Scott was also a firefighter for the town of Kingston for 19 years. He was the first Emergency Medical Technician for the Kingston Fire Dept. He was also a special police officer for the town of Kingston. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marion F. (Pulsifer) Scott, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Earle and John Scott. A Memorial Service will be held on Thurs. May 8 at the Shepherd Funeral home, 216 Main St., (Rte 106) Kingston at 2:00PM. Interment in the MA National Cemetery will be held on Fri. May 9 at 12:45PM. Memorial donations may be made to Prescribed Care, 374 Court St., Plymouth, MA 02360, Cranberry Area Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360, or the Kingston Fire Dept., Local 2337, 105 Pembroke St., Kingston, MA 02364.
