Conrad A. Russell, 76, of Plympton, died Apr. 24 at Beth Israel Hospital. Mr Russell served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict.aboard the USS Arcadia. Mr Russell wrote and illustrated over one hundred articles published in many magazines, including Fur, Fish, and Game, the Farmer’s Almanac, and the Ozark Mountaineer. He loved outdoor life, gardening and his John Deere tractor.He leaves his wife of fifty-four years, Madeline (Joseph) Russell, his children; Karen Pensac of Tiverton, RI, Cheryl McConnell of Leetonia, OH, Brenda Rose of Hanover, Bryan Russell of Scituate, David Russell of Rockland, Kimberly Vadnais of Chicopee, Jodilynn Kanellopoulos of Plymouth, and Sandra Burke of Sandwich. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Mon. Apr. 28 at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St., Kingston at 11:00AM. Interment in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:45PM. Visiting hours on Sun. from 2-6PM.
