Charles M. Foley, 63, of Pembroke, died Apr. 12 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. Born in Boston on Jan. 24, 1945, he was the son of Charles and Marie (Lombardi) Foley. He was a graduate of North Quincy High School, class of 1963. Mr. Foley was a musician and played the drums in the North Quincy High School band. Mr. Foley served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in Apr. 1965. Early in his career, he was a member of several bands and played at many popular local nightclubs and at private social functions. In 1987, Mr. Foley graduated from the MA. Criminal Justice Training Center and served ten years in the Rockland Police Dept., retiring as supervisor, Rockland School Police. He was the husband of the late Maxine (Pratt) Foley. He is survived by his brother, John Foley of Naples, FL. A funeral service will be held on Thurs. Apr.17 at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St., Pembroke Center at 10:00AM. Interment in Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon. Visiting hours on Wed. 4-8PM. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
