Sipola, Bruce R. Of Carver formerly of Weymouth and Quincy, April 14, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Mary E. (MacDonald) Sipola. Loving father of Kevin Sipola of Plymouth, Darlene Dryer and Bob of Randolph and Patricia Sipola of Truckee, CA. Grandfather of Kevin Sipola and Brandon and Shawn Dryer. Bruce graduated from Quincy High Vocational School class of 1948. He was a Sheet Metal Mechanic for Pneumatic Scale Co in Quincy. He also worked at the Fore River Shipyard and the Weymouth Savings Bank. He was an expert bird carver and a member of the United Parish Church Choir in Carver. Veteran US Navy Korean War. A Funeral Service will be held in the United Parish Church of Carver, Main St, Carver, MA. on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main St Rte 58 Carver, MA. on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be in the Central Cemetery, Carver. Contributions in Bruce’s memory may be made to the United Parish Church of Carver, Main St, Carver, MA. 02330.
