Obituary of William Allen Olson

William Allen Olson Sr of Duxbury died on March 23,2008 at his home in Duxbury at the age of 73. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Schneider) Olson. Father of Debbie Poirier and her husband Fran of Duxbury, William Olson and his wife Dana of Saga more and Luann Colantonio and her husband Steve of Plymouth. Brother of Barbara Pippin of Maryland, Christine Sarna of VA and the late George “Bob” Olson and Richard Olson. Grandfather of Billy, Jen, Jeffrey, Desirae, Stephen, Billy and Seth. Great Grandfather of Ashley, Will, Josie, Olivia, and Jeffrey Jr. William was born in NJ and was educated in the NJ School system. He had lived in Duxbury since 1951 and was the owner and operator of Olson and Son Painting serving the Duxbury and the South Shore area. William was a Navy Vet. in the Korean War and was a member of the Plymouth VFW and Duxbury American Legion. He enjoyed the beach and vacationing at his home in Maine. Calling Hours will held on Thur. March 27,2008 from 4-8pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St. (Rt106) Kingston MA. A Funeral Services will be held on Friday March 28,2008 at 9:30 at the Funeral Home.
