Obituary of Richard J. Cummings

Richard John Cummings of Pembroke formally of South Boston and Dorchester died on Feb8,2008 at his home in Pembroke at the age of 65. He was the husband of Janet (Jung) Cummings of Pembroke. Brother of Bernie Cummings of Brockton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Richard was born in Boston, and educated in the Boston School system. He worked for the Post Offices in Boston as a supervisor. Richard was a member of the US Army and Navy. He was a member of the VFW in South Boston and the American Legion in Pembroke. Richard has lived in Pembroke since 1992 and was a Friend of Bill W. Calling Hours will be held on Mon. Feb 11, 2008 from 4-8pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home Pembroke Center (RT 14). Family and Friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Tues. Feb 12,2008 at 9am followed by a mass at St Joseph’s the Worker Church in Hanson at 10am.
