Obituary of Warren A. Rich

Warren Atwood Rich of Kingston died on February 7, 2007. He was 87 years old. Mr. Rich was born in Wellfleet, and raised in Wellfleet and Hyde Park. Mr. Rich worked on the first radar installations in New England during World War II and also served as a pilot in the Air Force during World War II. He worked as a machinist at Raytheon for many years. He was a member, and past President of the Rich Family Association, and was a lifetime member of the Masons. Mr. Rich enjoyed oil painting, boating, and fishing. He was also very interested in studying his genealogy, and Cape Cod’s history. Mr. Rich is the Husband of the late Kathryn Rich. Brother of the late Kenneth Rich. Grandfather of Bruce Cameron of NC, and the late Christina L. Willis and her Husband Robert Willis of Kingston. Great Grandfather of Sarah Coveney of Bourne. Uncle of Kenneth Rich Jr. of Foxboro, and Cynthia Kennerson of ME. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 12th from 10:00 – 1:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A graveside service will follow at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne at 2:00 PM.
