Obituary of Alfred J. Bevis

Alfred J. Bevis of Kingston died on Jan 2, 2008 at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth at the age of 82. He was the wife of the late Stacia (Dubrowski) Bevis. Father of Judy Maccaferri of Plymouth, Sandra Zinkevich of Las Vegas, Holly Merry of Halifax and Terry Todorovic of Kingston. Loving Grandfather of 10 and Great Grandfather of 4. He is also survived by many Friends. Alfred was born in Bridgewater and lived in Kingston for over 50 years. He was a Self- Employed Lobsterman who loved the ocean. Alfred was also a carpenter teacher at Silver Lake HS in Kingston and was a member of the Carpenters Union. He was WWII vet in the Navy, a member of the MLA (MA Lobsterman Assoc.) and served as the Town of Kingston’s Shellfish Warden. Alfred was a loving family man, who enjoyed fishing and traveling.
