I was greatly saddened to hear that Dennis had passed away. Dennis and I worked together in Taunton for several years. He loved life, his family and everything that came with it. His words of encouragement helped me through some difficult times. He was a true friend, and will missed.

We were saddened to hear of Dennis' passing. He was always a true friend, always a warm and welcoming smile and always willing to help out anyway he could. Although our paths hadn't crossed since Drun Corps days with the "Defenders", we have many fond memories of Dennis and our friendship.

Dear Gagnon Family,
It was with deep sadness that I learned of Dennis' passing on Friday, December 21st. I had worked with Dennis in Taunton for several years, and was not happy when he was transferred to Needham this past year. He was a wonderful man, kind and considerate as well as a very efficient co-worker. Everyone who knew him here at General Dynamics was shocked and saddened by his passing. Please accept my deepest sympathy and please know how very much we loved him. May God bless you all.
Warm Regards,
Pat Hughes

To Linda and the Gagnon Family,
I am so sad to be writing you this note today. I am sorry I did not know in time to attend the services. I would have like to met you all in person and tell you all the hows & whys behind what I'm about to say but ....
Dennis was an absolutely wonderful and caring man. I consider myself quite lucky to have had him as a friend. Sad that I did not have the chance to spend these next few years working another program with him. (Even though neither really wanted to, we'd do so because ... that's what was needed.) He had nothing but integrity in all his actions. Dennis and I have only known each other since I came from Colorado and he moved down to work in Taunton, I remember how pleased he was to be able to do so! Kind words, genuine concern and a smile these are the reasons I always looked forward to seeing Dennis. The world has lost a beautiful person.
Know that you all meant the world to him - keep your scrapbooks handy - the smiles will not be far behind.
My heart goes out to you.
Always,
Katherine

Linda and Gagnon Family,
I am extremely sad to hear of Dennis's passing and want to express my deepest sympathies to you and your family.
I worked with Dennis for a number of years at GTE/GD in both Needham and more recently the Taunton facility. Dennis was not only a good and caring person but a good friend who will not only be missed by me but all those who knew him.
He was simply that kind of a person, and
my life has been enriched because of our friendship.
God Bless,
-Richard

I am truly sorry for your loss. Dennis and I were members of the Holy Damily Defenders many years ago.
We both played baritone horns together and participated in some of the greatest drum corps competitions of the 1960's. He was one of our top talents. He always helped out and had a kind word for others, too. We were all very much looking forward to playing again with Dennis in the newly formed Holy Family Defenders Alumni Corps.
Please accept my sincerest condolences at this time.
