Elizabeth E. Reading of Halifax, died on December 13, 2007. She was 55 years old. Daughter of the late Thomas Reading & the late Jeannette S. Reading. Elizabeth was born in Brockton,raised and educated in Pembroke. She is a graduate of Silver Lake Regional High School’s class of 1970. Following her graduation from high school Elizabeth attended Massasoit Community college, where she earned her associates degree. Elizabeth worked for the Armstrong Corp. in Braintree, and also sold life insurance. Elizabeth worked for Perot Systems in Quincy for 22 years. She loved sports, reading, the beach, going to Foxwoods, the Patriots, playing golf, and was an excellent basketball player. Her biggest talent was making friends and living her life to the fullest. Elizabeth is survived by her partner Paula Muller of Halifax. Loving Sister of Peter C. Reading, and his Wife Lynn of Pembroke, two Nieces, Cara and Christie Reading. Cousin of John and Theresa Vallen of Norwell, and a special friend to Lexie Muller. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 18th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 19th at the Shepherd Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at the Center Cemetery in Pembroke.
