Obituary of Willard Pratt

Willard S. Pratt, of Plympton, formerly of Hanson, died Oct. 30 at Life Care Center, Plymouth. He was 85. Born in Brockton on June 22, 1922, he was the son of the late Stanley W. & Edith (Chadbourne) Pratt. He was raised in Brockton. He was a veteran of the US Navy,during WWII, serving in the South Pacific aboard the USS Briarius. After the war, he went to work for New England Tel & Tel as a repairman until his retirement in 1984. He is survived by his wife Priscilla (Allen) Pratt, his daughters Susan C. MacMillan of Plympton and Sally C.Torchio of Halifax, a brother Norman Pratt of New York, five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St, Rt. 14, Pembroke Center on Mon. Nov. 5 at 11:00AM. Interment in Fern Hill Cemetery, Hanson.
