Obituary of Arthur Sward

Arthur V. Sward of Carver died on October 16, 2007. He was 92 years old. Mr. Sward worked for the Pneumatic Scale Co. in Boston for 32 years. He has lived in Carver for the past 26 years, and was a resident of Braintree prior to that. Mr. Sward loved fishing, and traveling the United States with his dear friend June Hardy. Mr. Sward is the Husband of the late Marion Sward. Father of Arthur V. Sward Jr. of CO, Richard Sward of NV, David Sward of Lynn, Phillip Sward of Sweden, and the late Alan Sward. Mr. Sward is the Grandfather of 7, and Great Grandfather of 3. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 19th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St. (Rt. 58) Carver, followed by a service to begin at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
