Alice M. Brugliera, 76, of Plymouth, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 20, after a long illness and with the blessing of her family and by the grace of God. Alice was born August 9, 1941 in Stoughton, MA to George and Mary McClurg. In 1962, she married the love of her life, Raymond Brugliera and went on to raise 5 children in the Middleboro area. Alice and Ray were locally known for their partnership and ownership of Alice's Restaurant in Middleboro, The Stonehouse Restaurant in Vermont and Grampi's of Carver, MA. Alice enjoyed her family life, traveling, dining out, and her beloved cats. She and
Ray celebrated 55 years together last June! In addition to her parents, Alice was pre-deceased by two sisters, Peggy and Joan, and two of her children, Raymond Jr. and Terri. Survivors include Ray, her husband, sisters Kathleen and Billie, daughters Tami and Jessie, son and daughter in law George and Marisue, and Wendy Mattie. Alice leaves her beloved grandchildren, Nicholas, Casey and Alex and her great granddaughters Lyla Violet and Evelyn Ivy. Services will be provided by the Shepherd Funeral Home, Carver, MA. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Church of the Vine in Carver, MA, on Saturday, February 24 at 10:00AM. Burial will directly follow at Center cemetery in Hanover, MA. We invite everyone back to the church of the Vine afterwards to share some fellowship, a meal and lots of memories.
