Obituary of Carol Ann Piper
Please share a memory of Carol to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Carol Ann Piper, of Carver, MA, formerly of Burlington, November 14. Carol was born on May 5, 1938 in Lynn, MA. She was the daughter of late James and Madelyn Moore. Beloved Mother of David Piper Jr of Carver, Cheryl Piper of Duxbury, William Piper of Lehigh Acres FL and the late Mark Piper. Sister of Melanie Chase of Arizona and Debi Christensen of New Hampshire. Grandmother of David Piper III and Harrison Piper. Great-grandmother of Garrett and Duke Piper, as well as many treasured nieces and nephews.
Carol’s first love was being a mother and homemaker. She was very proud of her children and dedicated to helping them pursue their dreams. Carol’s grandsons and great grandchildren stole her heart, she loved to boast about them all. After rising her four children, Carol started a career as a Record Technician for the Town of Carver and thoroughly enjoyed her work there until she retired. Carol will be remembered for her ability to love and care for others. So many people have shared stories about her thoughtfulness when they were ill or going through a hard time and how she was always there with a helping hand. Carol was always the first to volunteer whether it was making uniforms for the youth horse teams, planning and cooking for special events, being an active member of her Parish and the Saint Vincent de Paul Society. She was very talented and took great joy in sharing her beautiful oil paintings, hand knit baby clothes, sweaters, afghans….Carol will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver on Sunday, Nov 19th from 1-4 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 130 Main St, Carver, on Monday, Nov 20th at 10:00.
