Obituary of Renee A. Casagrande

Renee A. (Patenaude) Casagrande, 96, passed away on November 10, 2017. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph J. Casagrande. She is survived by her children Paul Casagrande and his wife Barbara of Kingston and Jan Casagrande and his wife Maureen of Plymouth. Renee was pre-deceased by her two brothers and her four sisters. She was the loving grandmother to five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Renee was a proud Eucharistic Minister at the St. Mary’s Parish In Quincy and at St. Joseph’s Church in Kingston. She was also a long time member and very active in the Quincy Senior Center. She was a long time resident of Quincy and then Kingston, MA. Renee also enjoyed arts and crafts and quilting. She enjoyed wintering in Florida for many years and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston on Friday, November 17, from 4:00 to 8:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at st. Joseph’s Church in Kingston on Saturday, November 18, at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at the Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in Renee’s name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
