Obituary of Robert A. Fisher

Robert A Fisher of Pembroke, died peacefully on September 30th, 2017 at the age of 75 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth MA. He was surrounded by his family during his passing. He was born in Weymouth, MA son of the late George Fisher and Barbara (Smith) Fisher. Brother of Charles Fisher and Jeanne Smith. He was the beloved husband of Robin (Stanley) Fisher, married 49 years, loving father to Howard Fisher and his wife Stephanie Fisher, and younger son James Fisher and his wife Jennifer Fisher. Proud and loving grandfather to Danielle(25), Steven(22), Rachel(18), Joshua(11), Lillian(11), Jacob(11), Gabriel(9), Sarah(6) and Mariah(6) Fisher. He was preceded in death by grandchildren Seth, Faith, Hope, Noah, Isaiah and Thomas Fisher. Robert graduated from The Boston School for the Deaf and Hanover High School class of 1963. Robert was a Master Carpenter, retiring from Raytheon after 31 years. He had a special talent to craft wood and create from his hands and tools that was unmatched. He enjoyed building models and projects of all kinds. He enjoyed his many grandchildren and family events and spending time with them. He brought love to many and was loved by many. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 5th from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral service will be held at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 3 Goddard Ave, Rockland on Friday, October 6th at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will follow at Centre cemetery in Hanover.
