Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
John F. Adams of Kingston, MA, lost his brief, courageous battle with cancer on Friday, September 15th at the age of 49. He was born in Quincy, MA on December 12, 1967, and grew up in So. Weymouth, MA. He lived in Florida and Maine before settling back on the South Shore with Renee in Kingston. John was loved by all who knew him, the life of the party, always bringing laughter and a smile wherever he went. He was a lover of the outdoors, including snowmobiling, boating or any activities near the water or a marina. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, hanging out and enjoying a good meal together. He was happiest just being by Renee’s side and that’s where you could find him most days. John was the proud co-owner of a local freight brokerage company and cherished his work family. He is survived by the love of his life and fiancée, Renee Pellerin Boyd, his amazing step children Abby and Tanner, whom he was so proud of. He is also survived by his parents, John (Jack) and Roberta Adams of Bluffton, SC; his sister, Kim Harrington and her husband Steve of Clayton, NC; and his nephews Jonathan and his wife Erica, Joshua, Teddy and Stephen all from Clayton, NC. He was cherished and loved by his Aunt Donna Barrett, Uncle Steve and Aunt Jean Adams, Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Maureen Adams and many cousins. John also was loved and adored by Jason and Lisa Keshishian and their children Mason and Gracie, Kevin and Laura Pellerin, Jeannine Pellerin, Donald Pellerin and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A gathering for family and friends will take place from 12 to 3 pm on Sunday, September 24th in the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St., Kingston, MA. A memorial fund has been set up to benefit the children. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The John F. Adams Memorial Fund ?
