James E. Thomas, 96, of Carver passed away on September 12, 2017. He was born in 1920 to his parents, the late James E. Thomas and Lena Thomas. He was pre deceased by his loving wife Catherine J. Thomas. James is also survived by his siblings, the late Dorothy Thayer, the late Dana E. Thomas, who was the retired Police Chief in Carver, Shirley J. Borengo and Martha L. Holmes. James was a cranberry grower out of Vancouver Canada. He was a director for the Ocean Spray cranberry company in Canada. He served his Country in the US Army, James served in the Second Armored Devision and also served in the Battle of the Bulge. A graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 16, at 11:00AM at the Central Cemetery, on Rt. 58 in Carver MA.
