Robert M. Mahoney, 67, of Plymouth MA, Fort Meyers Florida, passed away peacefully at home in Plymouth on September 12, 2017, after a long illness. Robert was a US Navy Veteran and a long time employee of Building 19. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon (Hannon) Mahoney. Dedicated father of his son Jason Mahoney of Kingston, and daughter and son in law Kelly and Christopher Everett of Pembroke and his beloved granddaughter Kalyn Mahoney of Kingston. He is also survived by his brother Steven Mahoney of Weymouth, his sisters Geraldine Martell of Weymouth and Diane Bethoney of Randolph. He is the son of the late Gerald and Pearl (Gerstal) Mahony. Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, September 15, at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St, Carver from 11:00 to 12:00PM. A service will follow at the Shepherd Funeral Home at 12:00PM. Interment will follow at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:30PM . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Robert's name to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Plymouth MA, 02360 or Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio St, Suite 500, Chicago IL, 60611.
