Obituary of Bradley J. Lane

Please share a memory of Bradley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bradley (Brad) Jason Lane of Kingston, MA passed away suddenly on August 16, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Ann Lane (Madden) who lost her battle with pancreatic cancer in November 2016, and also by his father Charles Lane, and siblings Mark, Vernon, Randall, and Brenda. He is survived by his loving daughter Heather Allen and son in law Eli Allen, of Duxbury, and doting grandchildren Lukas and Knox, his mother Jeanne Lane, sisters Cathy Whitley, Donna Carlson, Bonnie Lane, and brother Stephen Lane. He is also survived by countless nieces, nephews, and friends. Brad was a housepainter by trade, and was a tireless hard worker who loved to laugh on the job. He loved to ride his motorcycles and took many bike trips his friends and wife. Brad enjoyed good food and good music, hitting the gym, going to yoga with his daughter, collecting coins, and simply spending time outdoors. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and no one loved their Papa more than Lukas and Knox. Brad was always there to help people, whether it was offering a ride or providing moral support. He helped countless people who struggled with addiction, and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Memorial Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 11-1 pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St., Kingston, with burial to follow at Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury. Donations in Brad’s memory may be made to the Children’s Tumor Fund or Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
