Obituary of James A. Booth

James A. Booth, 72, of Carver, formerly of Halifax, died peacefully August 2 after a long battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Marsha (Walkey) Booth. Loving father of Kim and her husband Larry Moran, Kerri and her husband Steve Hayward, and Tim and his wife Karen Booth, all of Carver. Devoted grandfather of Alex, Michael, Kaily, Steven, Jeff, TJ, Jack and Jason. He was the brother of Barbara Donaldson and Lou Booth.
James was the former Police Chief in Halifax, retiring in 1986. Visiting hours on Friday August 4, at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St., Kingston, from 4-8PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 5, at 11:00AM. Donations in James' memory may be made to Cranberry Area Hospice, or Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
