Obituary of Norene F. Killelea

Norene Frances Killelea age 80 passed away peacefully on June 18th at her residence, Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston Ma from Alzhiemer's Disease. She was predeceased by her loving husband Peter J. Killelea at their retirement home of Naples FL. She is the daughter of the late Nora A. Crehan and Ernest L. Goodspeed. Norene had one daughter, Janice Gallinger, son in law Kevin Gallinger and grandson Jacob Gallinger of Pembroke Ma. She also continued the upbringing of her three nieces after the passing of her sister Mertie. They are Debra Shawles of Kingston MA who has three children David Shawles, Kristy Mahoney and Charlie Shawles, Kathleen Templet of Henderson NV and Frances Conlon of Morrell ME. who has two sons Zachary and Patrick Conlon. Norene was also predeceased by one brother Walter Goodspeed. She is survived by siblings Marie Kolker, Kathleen Dew, William Goodspeed and Patricia Staniewicz. Norene was an exceptionally caring, giving and fun person to all her family as well as volunteering many years in schools and libraries. She loved cookouts, the beach, sitting by the pool and walking her miniature poodle Jayna. She touched the lives of those who knew her and will be dearly missed. Visiting hours will take place on Sunday, June 25th from 2-4:00 PM with a service set to begin at 3:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (rt. 14) Pembroke. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Center Cemetery in Pembroke on Monday, June 26th at 11:00 AM.
