Elizabeth J. Tileston, 62, of Kingston, succumbed to a long term battle with addiction on May 15 2017. She is survived by her daughter Hayley and son Benjamin, and long term partner Richard Sellman. Daughter of the late Elizabeth and Alton Gould. Sister to Leslie Lawrence, and Jay Gould. She was born in Honolulu Hawaii, and raised in the South Shore of Massachusetts. She had a Bachelors degree in Psychology, She was a preschool teacher and brought joy to many children. She was a master Knitter (with a capital K), master bead artist, activist, "Our Favorite Hippie" with a timeless style and attitude, loved to read, philosopher, lover of music. She was a member of the Early Bird Gratitude group in Kingston. Host of the Itty Bitty Knitty Committee at her house on Wednesday mornings. She was a great woman, and had a profound impact on many lives. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Saturday, May 20th from 2-6:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. Clothing and monetary contributions may be made in lieu of flowers, and they will be donated to addiction treatment centers in Elizabeth's name. A reception will follow at: 140 Franklin st. Duxbury MA Between the hours of 6-8:30 pm
