Obituary of Jane E. Moore

Jane Elizabeth Moore, 69, of Halifax, passed away on May 1, 2017, after a brave battle with cancer. Beloved mother to Bill Christian and his wife Tammy of Worcester, Matthew Christian of Marysville, WA, and Catherine Christian of Halifax. She was born April 2nd 1948 in Malden Mass, daughter of the late Charles V. Moore and June P. Loving sister to Charles Moore and his wife Joann of Virginia, and June Dunn and her husband Fredrick of Halifax. Cherished grandmother to Michael Murray and Carolyn Murray and great-grandmother to Emma, Lenox, and Michael Jr. Jane is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a wonderful woman with a zest for life and she loved being around all her friends and especially family who meant the absolute world to her. Jane is a graduate of Hanover High School, and attended Massasoit Community College. She was a devoted and hard working employee at Group Insurance in Pembroke where she worked as claims manager. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, May 8th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 9th at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s church in Kingston. Graveside services will follow at Central cemetery in Halifax.
