John F. Wall, 81, while surrounded by loved ones passed away on April 26, 2017. Beloved husband of Brenda Wall of Carver with children Charles (Sandy) Wall of Plymouth, Michelle (Quinten) Wall-Hewak of Carver, Michael (Brie) Wall of Carver. Father of the late John R. Wall Jr., of Winthrop, Patsy (Ed) Gaj of Andover, Suzan (Robert) Hodgkins of Winthrop and Daniel Wall of Winthrop. Brother of the late Jerry A. Wall, Kathleen J. "Kay" Conway, William P. Wall, Stella M. O'Toole and Maryanne McCabe. Cherished Pa of Maureen, Kerry and Evan Gaj (Patsy), Robert Hodgkins (Suzan), Daniel Wall (Daniel), Nathaniel and Cora Wall (Charles), Vincent Burdziuk, Maggie and Keeghan Hewak (Michelle), and Mackenzie, Ryan and Emma Wall (Michael). John proudly served in the US Army with the 1st & 8th Infantry Divisions. John was proud of his service in Germany with General Pattons famous 7th Army Division, "7 steps to hell". John was Senior Project Manager at Boston University managing the construction of many of the BU buildings including the Boat house on the Charles River. He loved fishing, family gatherings and the occasional beer. He was known for his pleasant personality, gentle ways and hard-working nature. Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St, Carver on Monday, May 1, from 4:00 to 8:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 2, at 10:00 AM, at St. Bonaventure Parish, at 803 State Rd, Plymouth MA, 02360. Interment will follow at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:30pm.
