William F. Dennehy, Jr, 81, of Kingston Ma passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the eldest son of William and Doris Dennehy of Brockton. Brother of the late Robert Dennehy and his wife Pam of Middleborough and David Dennehy of East Bridgewater and his late wife Fran. Bill is survived by Aline (Renaud), his loving wife of 60 years, his sons William of Kingston, Michael and his wife Jacqueline of East Bridgewater, Jay and his wife Alice of East Bridgewater, and his daughter Lisa Clifford and her husband Jere of Dennis. Bill has eight grandchildren, Michael, Thomas, and Meaghan Kelley, Megan, Brian, John, Patrick, and Daniel Dennehy, also two great grandsons Jace and Landon Kelley. He also leaves behind his lifelong friend Ray Chassey of St. Louis, Mo. Bill was born and raised in Brockton and attended Brockton schools where he played baseball and starred as a pitcher for Brockton High. His love of baseball and the Red Sox led him to coach for many years in the Downey Little League in Brockton. Upon graduation from high school Bill enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a Military Police officer. After serving his country he went to work at the Proctor and Gamble Co. in Quincy for the next 38 years. Bill was an avid golfer and was proud to have scored eleven hole in ones. He was a member of the Club National in Brockton, Squirrel Run Golf Club of Plymouth, and Plymouth Fitness. A memorial mass for Bill will be celebrated at 10 am on Wednesday, April 19th, at St Joseph's in Kingston. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cranberry Hospice of Plymouth, 30 Cordage Park Cir, Plymouth MA 02360.
