Francis (Franny) X. O'neill, 64, Marine Corps Veteran with many service medals from the Vietnam War.
Formerly of So. Boston then Kingston, MA.
Passed away peacefully April. 1st, 2017 after a long illness.
Son of the late Francis X. and Eleanor O'neill. Preceded in death by his brothers Edward B. O'neill and Daniel C. O'neill and his sister Anne Louise Colamarino. Father of Michelle Kelly of Boston. Brother of Arthur J. O'neill of Plymouth, Maureen A. Robinson of Arizona, William C. O'neill of Cohasset and Joseph O'neill of Quincy. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Francis lived his life the way he wanted. He did it his way. He was one of a kind. He was a dog lover. He spent a lot of time growing up in Southie and especially Castle island.
Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, April 3, from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. Kingston. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 4at St Joseph's Church in Kingston at 10:00AM. Interment will be held at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne.
