Obituary of Margaret A. O'Brien

Margaret A. (Denehy) O’Brien, 79, of Kingston, formally of Weymouth and Falmouth, passed peacefully on March 17, 2017. Margaret was born in East Boston and was the beloved wife of the late Paul O’Brien. She graduated Quincy School of Nursing and worked at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth specializing in cardiology where she embraced the care of others. Her greatest love and joy in life was her family. She will be sadly missed and remembered by all those who knew her. She is survived by daughters Elizabeth Daugherty of Derry, NH, and Paula Haite of Kingston, MA, son in- laws Michael Daugherty and Larry Haite, grandchildren Jared, Ryan, and Matthew Haite and Michael Daugherty Jr. Margaret was the sister of the late Marie Milillo and Carol Fyfe. She is also survived by nieces Kathy Milillo Stein of VT and Kristine Lifari of NY, nephews James and Kevin Fyfe of TX. The Family wished to express their gratitude to the caregivers at Wingate of Silver Lake. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Margaret’s Memory to Charles River Center c/o (South Main Home) 59 East Militia Heights Drive, Needham, MA 02492. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street (route 106) Kingston, Saturday March 25th from 10 am to 12 pm, followed with a memorial service at 12 noon. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend the memorial service at Shepherd Funeral Home.
