Obituary of Frederick W. Tonsberg

Frederick William Tonsberg, passed away on March 14, 2017. Beloved son of Bobbi Jo and Fred Tonsberg and loving brother of Brandon and Evan Tonsberg. Freddy leaves behind his loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends from all across the country. Freddy graduated from Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina with a business degree, While playing for the men's division 2 Lacrosse team. He also enjoyed his travels during his last semester with his classmates to Spain. After graduating college Freddy stayed in Charlotte, North Carolina where he worked at Southern Wines and Spirits. Even after college his passion for lacrosse continued as he coached lacrosse for the local high school. Prior to Queens University, Freddy graduated from Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. There he met many friends while playing hockey and lacrosse at the highest of levels. Freddy's smile and spirit will always be missed but never forgotten. Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (rt. 106) Kingston, on Sunday, March 19th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 20th, at St. Joseph's Church in Kingston at 10:00 AM.
