Obituary of Naomi V. Cavicchi

On February 15th Naomi "Vi" Cavicchi went to her eternal rest. She was surrounded by her loving children and in the thought and prayers of the many people who loved her. Born on March 21st, 1932 she was the daughter of August and Mary Furtado. She was predeceased by several of her siblings. She is survived by her brother Dennis Furtado and her sister Marion Jesse. In April 1957 she married the late George V. Cavicchi, settling in Plymouth on Black Cat Road, where together they raised their family. Vi is survived by her children George V. Cavicchi, Jr. and his wife Christine, Glen A. Cavicchi and his wife Catherine, Patricia Cronin and her husband Chuck, and Pamela Simoes. Nine grandchildren and one great grandchild, many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Golden Living Center, 19 Obery St. Plymouth MA. Visiting Hours will be held Tuesday February 21, from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home , 216 Main St, Kingston. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday , February 22, at 10:00AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home. Internment will follow at Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth. Immediately followed by a celebration of Vi's life at the American Legion in Plymouth on Wednesday February 22 at noon
