Obituary of Joyce McNair

Joyce McNair, 7/8/1942 to 1/12/2017 Died peacefully at home with her daughters and dog, Bailey, by her side, following a brief illness. Joyce was born in Quincy, MA to the late Phyllis Clancy and Richard Bailey. She was married in 1963 to James L. McNair Jr. and resided most of her life in Pembroke, Ma. She and James retired and moved to St. Petersburg FL until James's death in 2007. She then moved to Dothan,AL, where she resided until her death. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as enjoying quiet time at home with her dog. She is survived by her 3 daughters Laurie and Mark Pichler, Lynne Mizzoni, and Lisa and Brandon Swift. Joyce is also survived by her siblings Dennis Clancy and Paula Varitimos. She is also survived by 6 grandchildern: Krista Mizzoni, Samantha Pichler, Craig Mizzoni, Matthew Pichler, Ashley Swift, and Tyler Swift. Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett st, Pembroke on Wednesday, January 18, from 10:00 to 12:00PM. A graveside service will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Pembroke.
