Leo 'Buddy' J. McLaughlin III of Plymouth, passed away on Sunday, Jan 8, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. He was 39. Born in Plymouth on Jan 15, 1977 son of Phyllis (Pasteris) McLaughlin and the late Leo J. McLaughlin Jr. He is survived by his mother, his beloved significant other, Sugar Morini and her daughter Hayden, brothers Wayne McLaughlin and Richard Rossetti of Plymouth, his Grandmothers Joann Pasteris of Plymouth and Margaret McLaughlin of Duxbury, many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. A jack-of-all trades, Leo worked in the construction field and also loved restoring cars, Mustangs were his passion, he owned many throughout the years. Leo enjoyed jet skiing, boating, kayaking, and drag racing. He just enjoyed life. Leo loved spending time with his family and friends, most of all he treasured Hayden, loved her more than life, he not only considered her his daughter, she was his best friend. Leo was dedicated to his family, friends, and his dogs Teyha, Moxie, and Max, they made him so happy. Those who knew Leo probably knew the dogs too, he took them everywhere with him. Leo had many friends, he will be missed immensely, he was loved by so many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visiting hours will be held on Monday Jan 16th from 4-8:00 pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rte 106) Kingston. A service will be held on Tues. Jan 17th at 11:00 a.m. at the Shepherd Funeral Home in Kingston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
