Obituary of Raymond F. Homer

Raymond F. Homer, of Carver, passed Wednesday at home after battling a lengthy illness.
He was born in Norton, son of the late George and Ida (Ferrara) Homer.
Mr. Homer was a Corporal in the U.S. Army and later owned and operated Raymond F. Homer Carpentry in Stoughton, and Easton area for many years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, traveling, and dancing the night away.
In addition to his wife, Carol, he is survived by two daughters, Sandra J. Day and her husband Alan of Raynham, Donna R. Montibello and her husband Stephen of Pepperell; a son, Raymond Alan Homer and his wife Janice of Brockton; seven grandsons; two great-grandchildren; three brothers; Walter Homer of Plainville, David Homer of Raynham, and Paul Homer of Plainville. He was the brother of the late Joseph Homer, Adelle Howland, George Homer, Robert Homer, Edna Moriarty, Alice Stasis, Donald Homer, Ronald Homer, and Ralph Homer.
A private funeral and burial service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
