Obituary of Gordon A. Pratt

Gordon A. Pratt, 68, of Kingston, passed away on December 26, 2016, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Gordon was a lifelong resident of Kingston. A good son to the late George T. and Frances (DeVitt) Pratt, Jr. A graduate of Silver Lake High School, Vietnam Veteran, and was employed by the town of Kingston for 40 years. He leaves his wife Roseann (Doten) Pratt and a son Gordon A. Pratt, Jr. A sister Gail Parkinson of Halifax, a brother in law to Arthur L. and his wife Jeanette Doten, Jr. of Kingston, and sister in law Marie and her husband Gregory Fairbanks of Plympton. Nieces Jeanne-Marie Doten, Bailey Fairbanks, and a nephew Tucker Fairbanks. Gordon was a member and past commander of American Legion Post 387, a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1822, and General Society of Mayflower Descendants. The family wishes to thanks Dr. White, all the nurses at the Jordan Hospital Club Cancer Centerm and Cranberry Hospice Palliative Care for their loving care. All services are private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cranberry Hospice, Plymouth, or Wounded Warriors Fund.
