Obituary of Barbara L. Waterman

Barbara L. (Pierce) Waterman, 83, of Halifax, passed away on December 21, 2016. Originally from Hanson, Barbara married her husband, Bob, and they made their home and raised their family in Halifax.Always cheerful, Barbara loved entertaining, welcoming family and friends to her home, having parties, including her famous "May Basket Parties", and decorating her home with beautiful floral pieces she designed. Barbara especially looked forward to weekly lunch dates with "The Girls"; her life-long friends, sisters-in-law and co-workers. Barbara enjoyed working in the cafeteria of the Silver Lake School District and Dennett Elementary for over 30 years. Devoted wife of Robert Waterman, and loving mother of Robert Waterman jr, of Chelmsford, Russell Waterman of East Bridgewater, Cliffy Waterman of Florida, Clinton Waterman of Florida, Donald Waterman of Halifax and the late Richard Waterman. Loving Nana of Rachael Waterman of Weymouth, Eric, Daniel and Robert Waterman of Florida, and Sandra Waterman of Halifax. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St, Pembroke, on Tuesdsay, December 27, from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by interment at the Central Cemetary, Hemlock Lane, Halifax at 11:30 a.m..
