Obituary of Susan A. Kearney

Susan A. (Callahan) Kearney, 57, of Rockland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2016 in the comfort of her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Susan was born in Randolph, MA on December 25, 1958. Susan is survived by her three loving sons, Anthony Kearney of Plympton, Andrew Kearney of Brooklyn, NY, and Daniel Kearney of Bridgewater. Susan, known as “Mammi,” loved her three granddaughters Makayla, Ava, and Ariana dearly and enjoyed every minute she spent with them. Susan is also survived by her siblings Daniel Callahan of Middleboro, Charles Callahan of Braintree, James Callahan of Brockton, Joseph Connolly of Taunton, Jeannie Morris of Taunton, and the late George and Robert Callahan, John Connolly, and Mary Dowd. Susan will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and close friends and will be fondly remembered for her big heart, kind soul, and commitment to always helping others. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 15th from 5-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St, (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Pleasant cemetery in Pembroke on Friday, December 16th at 11:00 AM.
