Agnes M. (Belliveau) Fairweather age 94, formerly a resident of South Meadow Village, Carver Mass. went to her rest peacefully on November 28th at the Tremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Wareham, MA. She was pre-deceased by Edward M. Fairweather and Raymond A. Carlson. She is survived by her three daughters, Carol Carlson, Patricia Hughes and her husband Peter and Elinor Vacchino and her husband Thomas. Her Grandchildren, Christopher Hughes and his wife Cindy, Thomas Hughes and his wife Andrea and Timothy Hughes and his wife, Betsy. Three granddaughters, Ashleigh, Emily and Jennifer Hughes. Agnes was lovingly cared for by the staff of the Tremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for the past several years. She was previously active in the VFW Post in Plymouth and the American Legion Post in Mattapan, MA. She was also a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary at Mattapan Post 128. She loved playing the organ, was an avid reader and a caring person who helped many of the infirmed residents of South Meadow Village with errands and Doctor’s appointments before she could no longer drive. Visitation will be on Saturday morning December 3rd from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 58, Carver, MA. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Services of Massachusetts, 2527 Cranberry Highway, Wareham, MA 02571.
