Obituary of Paul Capraro

Paul Capraro, Jr, 76, of Duxbury, entered into eternal rest on November 1, 2016. Devoted husband of 53 years to Kathleen M. (Riley) Capraro. Beloved father of Paul Capraro and his wife Traci of Sanford, FL, and Amy E. (Capraro) Lingelbach and her husband Edward of Bel Air, MD. Cherished grandfather of Kevin, Sarah, and Adam Lingelbach and Brook, and Paul Capraro IV. Born in Boston, Paul was the son of the late Paul and Josephine (Fiore) Capraro. Paul is also survived by his sister Beatrice (Capraro) Busa and her husband Anthony of Lexington, and his brother Albert and his wife Betsy Capraro of Norwell. Paul attended Bentley College, and was employed for many years in the wine and liquor business working lastly for Scheffelin & Co NY. Paul ended his sales career as a real estate agent for Caldwell Bankers in Duxbury. Paul was active in the Mens Club of Duxbury as well as various Poker groups. He was a big Foxwoods fan! Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, November 12th from 8:30 - 10:30 AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will follow at Holy Family church in Duxbury at 11:00 AM. Graveside services will be held at the Mayflower cemetery in Duxbury. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: The Intermissions Day Program at the Duxbury Senior Center or to the Alzheimers Association.
