Dear Lionel and family,
I just learned from one of our class members about Sara's passing back in October 2016. We had such a nice visit with you and Sara probably 10-15 years ago when I was in Halifax visiting my parents in the mobile home park. Sara and I were good friends during high school, but we had lost touch over the later years. You have a wonderful family, and her obituary told about your children and grandchildren. I moved to Illinois in 1956, after graduating from SLRHS, but now live with my husband in Davenport, Iowa, near one of our daughters. Hope you are getting along okay. My sympathy to you and your family. Even after all these years, I felt your loss as soon as I found her obituary. She was such a good friend and I cherish the long message she wrote in my 1956 yearbook. We had some good times together. Take care of yourself, Lionel. Carol (Forsyth) Kroeger
