Nina M. Wagner, 73, of Sagamore Beach, passed away on October 23, 2016. Beloved wife of James Wagner. Loving mother of Christian Heinis of Harvard MA, and Jennifer Dematos of Kingston. Daughter of the late Joseph and Carmella Genovese. Cherished grandmother of Christian Heinis, Carissima Heinis, Camryn Dematos, Logan Dematos. Sister to Linda Firicano from Malden, and Dominic Genovese from Stoughton, as well as many nieces hand nephews. Nina was a devoted wife of 43 years, loving and caring mum, and beloved friend. She was not only intelligent, she was absolutely stunning inside and out. Nina grew up in Boston before she married Jim and they settled in Hanover for 26 years. She was a hematologist at Children's Hospital for 25 years. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She loved spending time with them and watching them play soccer and hockey. She and Jim enjoyed their time together in sunny Florida where she would enjoy long walks with friends, the beach, and the boating with friends and family. Nina was an incredible dog breeder of Tibetan terriers for 40 years and had 82 champions. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 26th, from 4-8:00 at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 27th at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church in Duxbury. Graveside services will follow at the Mayflower cemetery in Duxbury. In lieu of flowers Nina’s family kindly requests donations be made to Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, 1317 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.
