Baylie Rochelle Brunner of Plympton, died peacefully on 10/10/2016 with her family by her side at Boston Children’s Hospital at the age of 14. Baylie is survived by her loving and devoted parents Daniel and Ammie (Talbot) Brunner and brother Aidan. She also leaves behind grandmothers, Rochelle Brunner of Allentown, PA and Debe Michalke of Kodiak, AK, Aunts Jennifer Huff of Macungie, PA and Stephanie Giniewski and cousins Daniel and Carissa Ginewski of Lehighton, PA. She is preceded in death by her “Pop-Pop”, Darwin Brunner and Uncle Michael Huff. Baylie was born on12/07/2001 in Port Huron, MI. Baylie was an animal lover and enjoyed being with her 2 dogs, Shotzie and Lucy; 2 cats, Kodiak and Patches; and 2 Horses, Joe and Lilly. She had a love for riding horses and was happiest when she was able to be with them. She also found joy in volunteering with “Friends for Tomorrow”, helping children with therapeutic horseback riding and Volunteered at the Kodiak Animal Shelter while she was living in Alaska. Over the past 6 months, Baylie bravely battled Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and eventually her body succumbed to the effects of this cancer. A memorial service to celebrate Baylie’s life will be held at Shepherd Funeral Home located at 116 Main St (Rt. 58) in Carver. Visiting hours will be held Sat. Oct. 15, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 with a service to begin at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Baylie Brunner to support pediatric oncology research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284 or via www.dana-farber.org/gift.
