Obituary of Michael C. Ryan

Michael C. Ryan, 65 of Florida, formerly of Pembroke, MA, died suddenly on Sunday, September 25, 2016. He was born in Boston on August 20, 1951 to his late parents, Thomas & Veronica (Szymanski) Ryan. Michael leaves his children, Cheryl of Florida, Christine Vilela & her husband Paul of Kingston, Michael of Plymouth, Kim & her fiancé Andre Boudreau of Kingston. He is the loving Gramps to Michael, Tyler and Allison. He is the brother of Patrick & his wife Joanne of Plymouth, Charlie & his wife Kathy of Holbrook, Joe & his wife Pam of Weymouth, and the late Thomas & Frank Ryan. He is the brother-in-law of Sheila & Sylvia and the former husband to Ann. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends. Michael graduated Boston Trade School in 1970 and entered into the apprenticeship program for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. He was a proud union carpenter of Local 33 in Boston for over 30 years. Michael enjoyed watching the Patriots, riding his Harley, fishing, gambling and drinking. He also loved spending time with his children and his brothers. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 4-7 pm at Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St, Pembroke, MA. A memorial mass will be held at St. Thecla’s Church, 145 Washington St, Pembroke, MA on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 10 am.
