Obituary of Dorothy A. Briand

Dorothy A. Briand of Kingston MA formerly of Buzzards Bay and Holbrook passed away peacefully on August 24th surrounded by love ones. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Albert Briand, son Albert Briand Jr and sister Lillian Beckman. She is survived by her brother Robert and wife Rosalie Lynch, her children Annette Fuller and husband Bill, Dennis Briand and wife Maureen, Pamela Pike and husband Jerome, and Robert Briand and wife Maura as well as 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dorothy lived life to the fullest. She was a lover of all things Irish. She was always on the go and always entertaining friends and family. Dorothy was a very spiritual person. She served as President of the Josephines in Holbrook, President of the Bourne Seniors, and Captain of numerous adventures with friends and girlfriends to Maine and other amazing destinations. Visiting hours will be held Sunday August 28th at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston from 3:00 to 5:00PM. A Funeral mass will be held Monday August 29th at 10:00AM at Holy Family church in Duxbury Ma. Burial will be private at Bourne National Cemetery.
