Obituary of Rachel Mason

Rachel Mason, 83, of Carver, passed away on August 3, 2016. Daughter of the late Rachel Cofasso and James Spada. She was the loving wife of the late Wayne Mason. She is also survived by her siblings Josephine Kearney and her husband Edward, Francis Mielbye and her husband the late Richard Mielbye, Alberta Cafasso and her brother the late Anthony Spada, the late Guido Cafasso and his wife Joyce and the late Grace Falasca and her husband Harold. She was also the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Rachel was a wonderful sister and aunt. She was a very spiritual person. She was an extremely talented singer who sang for many years at the St. Kateri Church in Plymouth. Rachel enjoyed entertaining friends and family, she will be missed dearly by her friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rachel's name to St. Kateri Church in Plymouth, MA, or St. Jude's Children Hospital. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 10, from 8:30AM to 11:30AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Carver (Rt.58). A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00PM at the St. Kateri Church in Plymouth.
