Obituary of Alan J. Drew

Alan J. Drew, 60, of Kingston, passed away on July 27, 2016. He was the husband, and one true love to Diana (Swingle) Drew, son of Donald E. Drew and the late Faye (Kumm) Drew. Loving and devoted Father of Tammy Veracka of Kingston, and John Drew of Abington. Brother to Donald Drew of Kingston, Margy Drew of Laredo, Mexico, and Jane Drew of Kingston, as well as step father to Daniel Blanco, IL, Yolanda Pimentel, IL, and Rosa Blanco, IL. Brother in law to Hank Roach of Kingston, as well as many nieces and nephews. Grandfather to Jessica, Dylan, and step Grandfather to many. Alan chose to work for the Water Department and raise a family in Kingston,the community that he loved. He had a love for animals that developed at a young age when he worked as a veterinarian assistant. He also had a passion for a wide range of music, and enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping. As a big kid himself, you would generally find him in the yard, leading a game for all of the neighborhood children.
