Ann Glee Janson, 79, resident of Norwell, Harwich and Duxbury, MA passed away peacefully on July 17th. Glee is survived by her sister, Eda Lou Higgins of Mullica Hills, NJ, her children, son, Bruce McCutcheon and his wife Jean of Duxbury, MA, her daughter, Amy Keller and husband Joseph of Kingston, MA and her son Daniel McCutcheon of Gorham, ME. She loved and took great pride in her grandchildren Renata, Matthew, Michael, Benjamin, Maggie, Caitlin and Camryn. She is preceded in death by Henrik Janson of Harwich, MA. Glee was born on June 25, 1937 in Providence, RI to Albert and Louise Higgins. She graduated from No. Providence High School, attended Rhode Island School of Design and Rhode Island School of Nursing where she earned her RN. She had a long and happy career as an OB/GYN nurse at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA eventually working her way up to be director of the Prepared Childbirth Education program. Glee was an avid gardener. She loved to travel, spending time in the Caribbean, traveling to the National Parks and Europe. She was a strong and active supporter of the Pan Mass Challenge as a contributor, volunteer and rider. She found great joy as a member of the Harwich Garden Club and as a member of the bell choir at her parish on the Cape, The Church of the Holy Spirit, Orleans, MA. All are welcome to a memorial celebrating Glee’s life on August 8 at 11am at St. John the Evangelist, 410 Washington St., Duxbury MA. A reception will follow at the Windsor House Inn, 390 Washington Street, Duxbury, MA. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Glee to support cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
